One Eighty/Leisure Care hosted the eighth annual Pajama Drive Dec. 1 to benefit Treehouse Wearhouse. One Eighty and Leisure Care retirement communities throughout the Puget Sound, including Lynnwood's Fairwinds-Brighton Court, collected over 1,000 pajamas and over $2,000 in donations.

People donated more than 1,000 pajamas and more than $2,000 to help foster kids served by Treehouse.  Kent's Farrington Court retirement community was part of the eighth annual pajama drive hosted by One Eighty/Leisure Care locations for Seattle-based Treehouse, whose free store serves more than 5,000 foster kids.

Fairwinds - Redmond, located at 9988 Avondale Rd. N.E., is participating in the eighth annual One Eighty/Leisure Care Pajama Drive as a "Pajama Post" drop-off location for new and gently used pajamas.

Kent residents can donate pajamas at the Farrington Court retirement community to give to foster kids served by Treehouse.  New or gently used pajamas can be dropped off at Farrington Court, 516 Kenosia Ave., until Thursday, Dec. 1.  Through Nov. 21, Farrington Court had collected 50 pairs of pajamas and more than $200 in cash donations. Farrington Court has a large display in its front lobby for easy drop-off.
