One Eighty, parent company of Leisure Care Retirement Communities and other hospitality-based companies, announced a number of changes to the executive suite at their downtown Seattle headquarters. The hospitality-focused business growth and management company is known for its innovative approach to business and focus on human capital. Residents and workers at Fairwinds - River's Edge Retirement Community have been lending a helping hand. In 2008, the S.W.A.P. (Seniors With A Purpose) group was founded for Fairwinds residents. They teamed up with Mary Hutchison of the Community Council of St. Charles County to help get their efforts off the ground, and have been running full-steam since. A former retirement community within walking distance of Boulder Creek and Folsom Field will begin anew this summer after undergoing extensive renovations. The Carillon at Boulder Creek is set to open in August, according to Jason Childers, vice president of brand strategy at One Eighty, the operating partner for the project. Fun-loving seniors from Fairwinds - Redmond Retirement Community, along with staff and family members, put their hands together to create the unofficial "Longest Sub Sandwich on the Eastside" Feb. 18.
